The sea —
On the seafloor, a small house stands in the dark. As you look out the window, single-kanji fish swim across your screen.
No two windows are alike, and the fish that find their way to yours belong to your sea alone. The shape and personality of each fish are left to your imagination, represented simply by the meaning of their Kanji character.
Born as tiny sparks of life, they are almost invisible at first, but gradually grow over the course of many days. Watch them live out their lives and new ones take their place.
Feel free to leave it open like a screensaver while you work, take a look during a break, or drop by again whenever it crosses your mind a few days later.
If your data is reset due to clearing your browser cache, please just enjoy meeting a brand new school of fish all over again.
Browser-based. Just open and watch.
